Evangelization and Psychosocial support

Evangelization and Psychosocial support:

One cannot wade off the importance of evangelism. It is the duty of every Christian to obey the Great Commission and preach the non-believers

Not only knowledge, skills and information are offered and promoted but also do help the beneficiaries to know about the creator and appreciate the love of one another as a way of promoting peace and respect of each other (human rights). The Foundation does provide psychosocial support to the beneficiaries by counselling them about stigma on the wars and harsh conditions in the regions

Evangelization happens when the word of Jesus speaks to people's hearts and minds. Needing no trickery or manipulation, evangelization can happen only when people accept the Gospel freely, as the "good news" it is meant to be, because of the power of the gospel message and the accompanying grace of God.

Evangelization is bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to those around us. Jesus himself commanded us to evangelize.

Psychosocial Support Top of Form

Psychosocial support can support children, adolescents and caregivers in having a sense of control of their own life, a sense of belonging and can help children create relationships and bonds with family members, friends and community members. The best form of psychosocial support is a healthy family and supportive environment, preferably in the child's community of origin, or one that is culturally similar.  Psychosocial well-being is a product of multiple support, which is rooted in the ability to form healthy relationships and participate in community networks.

Methods of psychosocial

This includes 1) psychiatric consultations, 2) psychological interventions such as counselling, psychotherapy and brief psychological interventions for individuals, couples and families, 3) community-based activities with the explicit aim to improve mental health and psychosocial wellbeing.
