Kango’s Kids of Uganda Foundation (KUFO) is a children and youth community based supporting Foundation founded to help in empowering young people with knowledge, skills and information for their self-reliance. The Foundation was formed by passionate people with the plight of the children especially those in Northern Uganda and Karamoja region with the aim to transform and improve the quality of life of orphans and vulnerable children with limited resources who cannot support themselves through helping them to access quality education, skills, welfare and behavior change, so that in turn they are able to be responsible, self-reliant and developmental citizen in the community.

OUR GOAL: Contribute to the protection, development and survival of the vulnerable children in Northern Uganda and Karamoja area.
Support vulnerable children in areas of Northern Uganda and Karamoja Reagion
Our objective is to support vulnerable children in areas of Northern Uganda and Karamoja area with tuition, scholastic materials, school requirements, and other essential requirements. We do this so as to;
- Keep them in school
- Acquire knowledge
- To bring up responsible developmental and self-reliant citizens
Children have the right to education which the Foundation is promoting by supporting the vulnerable children in the two operation areas of Oyam and Karamoja region.
Empower the Foundation beneficiaries with hands on skills.
We are to empower the children with hands on skills development and life skills in leadership, communication, self-confidence, peace building, development, love and unity to have skills that can help them to stay in the community with others in harmony.
The trainings are to help the children to be good generation that respects humanity and love for one another.
The skills training is to develop and train the young generation with employable skills among the vulnerable to become developmental and self-reliant.
Provide education and support to project beneficiaries
To train, educate and support families of the supported children in entrepreneurship skills, saving culture, expenditures and support with income generation activities to help support themselves with necessary requirements at home and for their children.
The trainings will empower parents, guardians and children with skills in savings and income generation and support them when the project come to the end. The training will also help in building on their incomes for their prosperity and self-reliance.
Evangelization and psychosocial support to children, parents, guardians and community members.
The foundation offers counselling and guidance to children to help in reducing on the stigma.
The foundation works hand in hand with local churches within the community to enable the smooth flow of God’s word to the project beneficiaries and counselling them.
This will help to reduce immorality, detestation, violence and human rights abuses within the community to avoid them produce children that they will leave them in orphan life.
